When I tell you being in quarantined can be mentally draining. Kids running all over the place and really your mind nor body is used to being held up in one place especially not home. Well, for me it played on my mindset, I felt distant from family and friends. I stop reaching out and really stop allowing others in because of this quarantine crap. I enjoy family and friends, but I just felt so stuck in one place and my mind wasn’t allowing me to see beyond those feelings. So, I began working out, just looking at various options of working out my stress. Well, not going to the gym but walking my neighborhood listening to a delightful book on audible really helped, and as of lately I invested in a Peloton bike. It really is a workout and has really helped my mind escape for worries beyond my control. As a good deal of you may not be aware, but self care not only helps the person, but it helps those around you. Family time is so much better when we take time to care for ourselves.
